We have a program so agents can work around the Service Fee rules that come with SOT. Any of our members can participate in this program.
- We will first get a form from PRO that has all the information on it. (Example - 748341)
- Next, we have to log into Stripe - https://dashboard.stripe.com/dashboard
- Click Connect from the left-side menu
- Click Connected Accounts
- Click Create in the top right
- Change Account Type to Express and click Continue
- Copy the onboarding link to your clipboard
- Send Service Fee Program Reply 1 canned response and include this link in the email.
- Now, we have to wait a couple of day till the member completes their account setup and Stripe shows they company name and the word "Complete" or "Enabled."
- Once this happens, now it's time to create their links. Log into Stripe again and click Product Catalog.
- Click Add Product in the top right
- The name should be their agency name followed by whatever they wanted to call their fee (this is in the form)
- Select "One-off"
- Enter the lowest dollar amount option they selected
- Click their product, and it should take you to their product page
- Click the + next to pricing because we need to add the other prices they asked for
- For each price, they ask for
- Always select One-off
- Enter the additional payment amount
You should now see 3 prices (if applicable)
- Next, set up your reply to the member on the original ticket. Canned response: Service Fee Program Reply 2
- Click the 3 dots next to the first price and click "Create payment link"
- Select Collect customers' addresses and Require customers to provide a phone number
- Click After Payment
- Click "split the payment with a connected account
- Select the account that you are making the links for
- You will have to do a calculation here. The service fee amount multiplied by 6.4% + 30 cents.
- Enter the calculated amount and click Create Link in the top right
- Copy the link from the next screen and paste it into the reply to the member.
- Repeat steps 20-27 for all the $ amounts
- Once complete, send the reply to the member
- Resolve the ticket
